Museum of Plastic Bottles

Identity Stationery and Promotional Product

The brief for this class was to make up an idea for a museum, and then create an identity and promotional product for it. Museum of Plastic Bottles (MOPB) was chosen to display alternate uses for plastic bottles, such as sculpture, instead of continuing the cycle of pollution.

Photography was fundamental to this identity concept, so it made sense to create a small book of photography as the promotional product.

These photos were created by crunching up plastic bottles, filling them with water and then placing a coloured light underneath them. This results in the bottles - that are usually seen as rubbish, being transformed into something beautiful.
